![]() ![]() As that technique has only been tested to an altitude of 400 feet, I did receive a compound fracture to my left femur rupturing my femoral artery but that didn’t stop me. Needing to get on the ground as fast as possible, I cut away at 500 feet and executed a textbook perfect MPLF (Missing Parachute Landing Fall). I would've burned in on entry but at the last second possible, I put my helmet on my feet and maintained a perfect vertical vectoring velocity otherwise known as the 3-V descent technique. My infil was a Haho from the Space Shuttle. When I run across the obligatory jerk-off otherwise known as a liar.you know that guy.the one who is full of it.who says he's been there & done ually a Special Forces Seal or Force Ranger Recon or some other crap like that, I run this little story by him. I do not doubt that Vintage Zodiac's were indeed used by individual members of UDT/Seal Teams in Vietnam, along with a thousand other military personnel(or how ever many watches Zodiac sold to personnel headed in country),which lends creed to the statement that they were used by said personnel but again, this watch was never a U.S.Navy Special Warfare Group Issue Watch. ![]() ![]() The UDT/SEAL Association is a Group of Active Duty(AD),Veteran & Retired U.S.Navy Seal & Underwater Demolition Team Members that get together to tell lies, drink beer, eat BBQ & relive their glory days, just as I gather with AD,Retired & Veteran U.S.Army Diver Association(USADA)Members to tell lies, drink beer(well I no longer drink),eat BBQ & relive our glory days. I believe what Zodiac is stating is that this is "The Official Watch of the UDT/SEAL Association",Not the Official watch of the U.S,Navy Special Warfare Group.Notice the add does not say "Issued To" or "Chosen By The U.S.Navy Spec War Group" merely "Used By". ![]()
